No Bake Energy Bites

20160130_170114_resized February is Heart Health Month in Canada so I plan to add a few heart friendly recipes this month.  My first is a favorite snack of mine when I have the munchies but know better than to grab processed goodies from the pantry.

For best flavour fresh flake your oats.  YOu can use the Flaker attachment for your Ankarsrum Mixer of a KoMO Flaker.  I have both and tried a bit with both with excellent results from either.  The KoMo Flakers can be purchased stand alone or as a unity with a grain mill check the KOMO page of our website for the various models available.
