This pasta is about as simple as it gets. You will need your Blender, Lasagna and Fettuccine attachments. A delicious recipe shared by my daughter-in-law.
- 1 large egg
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 2 1/2 cups loosely packed spinach
- 1/2 cup loosely packed basil
- 1 1/2 cup freshly ground flour or 1 1/4 cup white flour
Place all but flour in your blender and process on low slowly increasing speed till smooth, scrape down if needed. Add the flour till dough forms a ball.
Remove dough from blender and place on floured counter. Divide dough in half. At this point you can roll out the dough by hand or run it through the lasagna attachment. Then run it through your pasta attachment. Allow to dry for about 15 – 20 minutes.
To prepare. Bring a pot of water to boil with a bit of salt. Add pasta and boil for about 5 – 6 minutes. Drain and toss with a bit of olive oil, lemon and herbs. Sprinkle with a bit of parmesan. Or use with your favorite topping or recipe.
