Base:
- 3 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Baking Powder
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. Vanilla
- 1/2 cup Butter or Margarine
Mix liquid ingredients together with Cookie whips till well blended. Then slowly add the dry ingredients till well blended and whip on medium high about 1 minute. Pour batter into greased 9 x 13 pan.
Topping:
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup Brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Flour
- 1 Tbsp. Cinnamon
- 3/4 cup Chopped Walnuts
Blend these together on low speed in plastic bowl with cookie whips. Once well mixed drop by spoonful evenly over batter. With a knife swirl the topping though the batter slightly. Bake in 350 degree over for about 25 – 30 minutes till done and slightly browned along edges. While cooling mix together the Glaze.
Glaze:
- 2 cups icing sugar
- 5 Tbsp. water
- 1 Tsp. Vanilla
Mix together in a small bowl and drizzle over warm cake. Delicious served warm or at room temperature. Freezes well.
