No recipe this week, sadly I am writing a note of thanks and farewell to our CEO and a wonderful friend. Linus Kolmevik was Ankarsrums export manager when Jalyns first started carrying the Ankarsrum mixers in 2010 and has been my inspiration and coach from day one. Through visits and many interesting adventures we have brought Ankarsrum from being a virtual unknown in Canada to a game player in the stand mixer market. From his first visit to Saskatchewan on a blustery -30 November day, to seeing the sights from the top of CN Tower in Toronto and great times with the Ankarsrum team, he will be missed. Linus was a guide, an inspiration and mostly a great friend to myself and all Ankarsrum Distributors around the world. Wishing him all the best in his new endeavours and I cannot wait till our paths cross once again…. it’s been “awesome”.
With that I want to welcome Hakan Stenberg, who has taken over the Export position and will be our Canadian contact. I am looking forward to getting to know him better and sharing ideas for the future with him. But right now from all of us who love our Ankarsrums in Canada and especially me…
