Welcome to a New Year everyone. As you can see by the length of time since recipes were posted I have been enjoying the holidays. As we toast to the past and the future, for those still squeezing in a bit more celebration why not do it with a glass of Glogg as it is called in Sweden, our German friends refer to it as Gluhwein or here in North America its Spiced Wine. No Assistent required for this just wonderful friends gathered together or maybe a quiet evening curled up by the fire with a good book.
In a crock pot or on the stove heat
4 cups of red wine
1 cup of water (if desired)
2 cinnamon sticks
1 tsp whole cloves
couple slices or orange or lemon if desired
Blend together till heated but NOT boiling, pour into mugs or heat proof wine goblets and enjoy.
